Mosin-Nagant M38. Scored it from the Centralia Gun Show (featured on TV Carnage! Didn't even look at my ID!) for under a bill. I'm now going to go blow some holes in targets with my friend who scored a Glock 17.

Anyone else a gun owner here?

I live in Olympia, WA which is pretty much the opposite of both hick and midwest. Stepping out of the city limits yields many a "Nobama" sticker.

i work with a guy who just got into collecting. he brought his AR-15 w/ a holographic scope into work. i'm not a gun guy, but that shit was awesome. it was just such an impressive mechanism. he's invited everyone to go shooting. mostly people just clown on him for it.

that dude is an nra certified marksman who enjoys shooting clay pigeons with his beretta in tweed blazers during weekends in the country.
he's never shot a handgun though or an automatic weapon.

Yeah I was going to add a scout sight but one that I can easily take off and use as iron-sights. It's hard because of where the bolt is so I'll have to put it more forward on the chamber.

They are. All these guns kept pouring out of my dad's study I never even knew he owned. My little sister brought the assault rifle she got for her 16th birthday. If memory serves it ended up a flyer for a SPoT barbecue.
